Biosource Recruiting is Hiring a Quality Administrator Near Orlando, FL

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Quality Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and improving our quality standards. Your attention to detail and expertise in various quality documentation processes will ensure that our products meet or exceed customer requirements. With your knowledge of blueprint reading and manufacturing processes, you will contribute to the overall success of our quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive inspection masters for each job, including ballooning blueprints and creating Inspection Reports, First Piece Reports, and Shipping data sheets for each part.
  • Review customer purchase orders prior to shipment to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Generate Certificates of Conformance and make copies of quality documentation to accompany each shipment, keeping a copy for the Office Manager.
  • Ensure timely closing and inspection of file folders, maintaining organized and efficient record-keeping practices.
  • Review job packets to identify any changes that may impact quality and promptly notify the QA Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the quality department.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, the following requirements should be met:

  • Experience in balloon drawings to accurately interpret and analyze blueprints.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing requirements.
  • Knowledge of various raw materials and manufacturing processes, enabling informed decision-making regarding quality specifications.
  • Familiarity with modern office methods, procedures, filing systems, and office equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under supervision, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines as required by projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment and maintenance of positive relationships with customers and peers.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are required for this position:

  • High school diploma or trade school education.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a quality-related role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience working in a shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience interpreting drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience interpreting Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.
